The Missouri Plein Air Painters’ Association was established in 1999 by a group of local artists, with the express purpose of furthering the practice and appreciation of plein air painting in Missouri and surrounding regions.
Since there's no membership, dues or meetings it's extremely easy to join us on any Sunday, just show up - everyone is welcome!

Due to popular requests, we'll once again be close to the World's Fair Pavilion just off of Concourse Drive (see image below) in Forest Park. The best way to get there is to take Concourse Drive (it's a one way street) off of Mckinley Drive. If you blow up on the Google map at the bottom of this page you can see where to turn. Park along Concourse Drive just before you reach the top of the hill (see image below). The weather is going to be a very nice and the area offers a big variety of scenery. Artists will start arriving around 9:00 and paint until whenever. For info about and directions to the location, click this link Forest Park.
